Construction is Complete!

Have you noticed the progress over at RiverWalk Place lately? If so, you have noted that construction is complete and closings for the condos under contract will start next week. There will still be some work going on the next couple weeks as we give the development a good cleaning and finish up with painting the handrails. The development includes 17,000 sq ft of retail space on the ground floor with 22 luxury condominiums on the 2nd and 3rd floors; all on the banks of the Black Warrior River in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa. The development's exterior is composed of a mixture of stucco, brick, HardiePlank, and stone giving it an outdoorsy, rustic look that complements its neighbors including the new Tuscaloosa RiverMarket and Ampitheater. The residential condominiums feature hardwood floors, travertine tile, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, 10 ft ceilings, crown moulding, large waterfront terraces with cable and gas hookups, and designated parking. The model condo unit is open daily 3-5 pm with additional hours on the weekend depending on kickoff time. On the retail side, Another Broken Egg is completing its build-out with hopes of opening the middle of December while Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt opened its doors today (Nov. 16th). The official grand opening is planned for the week of Nov. 26th.
